The Reboot is now Live, and weekly Comic submissions have started up once again, folks.

Now, for the question I'm sure many of you have had about this...

Well, simple answer, the original comic was something I hardly put any effort in when I first started it. I mean, just take a serious look at some of those first backgrounds. Geez. I mean, really? Also, the odd jumps from Line Art, to Grey scale, to Color? That was just unprofessional.

This whole thing was originally suppose to be a practice comic, to help me become better as an artist. I mean, it was this, or join an OCT, and frankly, my last experience with one of them was less than ideal. So, I started a comic, and not just any comic. A comic with a story type that I had NEVER attempted before. I wanted to do something with action, with violence, and maybe a dash of insanity. Instead, I went with a comedy with possible romance and (something else I never approached before) Transformation and Transgender elements. The result was Tangent-Valley.

Now, that was good and all, but looking back at the early months of it, I can't help but flinch from the degree of mistakes I had made. First and foremost, giving in to community peer pressure. I THOUGHT I had to be a, quote, TG/TF Artist due to the elements my comic carried. I thought I had to draw certain things to appease an audience I had managed to wrangle up, and because of that, I did and said a few things I WISHED I could take back. Not all of this was evident in those early pages, but I knew what I was thinking back then, and I didn't like how it tied in with the comic. So this time I'm restarting this comic, and I'm drawing it for ME. I'm not giving in to what I believe a portion of my audience desires. This is MY story, and I'm going to tell it that way I WANT to.

Anyway, another reason the Reboot is taking place, which I'm sure quite a few of you have already learned, "Felix was NOT suppose to be the Main Character". Yep, when I started this comic that little cat girl with Belle/Burt was not suppose to be the character that we followed and learned about. They were, if anything, just suppose to be an example of a newcomer to the Valley. The actual comic was just going to be a slice of life and back stories for different characters in the Valley, and the comic itself was going to actually become a Group on deviantart. I decided early on though that, No, I wanted this comic and its world to be mine, and didn't actually feel like sharing it with others. Oh, but back to Felix and the not main character bit. Due to that reason, you'll likely notice that Felix didn't really act much like the Felix we know now. He was timid, scared, panicky, and didn't have pants. XD

(...The early Burt was also Burt, and not Belle. If that made any sense...)

Anywho, I don't really know what else to write right now, and really want to get back to drawing and coloring up a couple more pages. So, if you have any questions about all this, just let me know.

Comic Reboot is on 10/29. Should I start a Patreon Account alongside it, with milestone goals? (Patreon =

How strange! I've been watching you for awhile, but I don't remember why I initially started (I'm bad with names at times)! But then again... what I see here is so brilliant and amazing that it's well worth it. Keep up the wonderful work! =)

More questions:
1) How do I get past the feeling that everything I draw is terrible?
2) 600+60+6?
3)When's the comic reboot gonna be posted?
4)Does a set of all sets contain itself?

(I'm trying not to comment on you stuff every day so I don't look like a creep but really this is all I have to do now besides doodle. Just gotta wait for my laptop)

Why are you a turtle?
Tangent-Valley Featured By Owner Nov 3, 2014  Hobbyist Digital Artist
Tortoise. And it's because I'm so damn slow at drawing, scripting, coloring, writing, and just about everything else that is part of the comic making process. =w="

Ooooooh I get it.

How'd u learn to draw like that? Most people say that's just how they draw. Which is what I usually expect. I'm not that good.

Practice. About....let's see, umm....13 years of it. =w="
Yeah. And I just sort of looked around at others works and taught myself. Even had a Megatokyo style for a while way back.

I might just doodle sometimes. I'm trying to focus more on my YouTube channel.

how much would cost single tf tg art with shading from you?
Tangent-Valley Featured By Owner Oct 16, 2014  Hobbyist Digital Artist
At the moment I have WAAAAAAAY too much on my plate (artistically speaking) to do any extra images. =w="

After the 29th with the comic reboot I should have more time to do images again. Check sometime in early November, and I should have more free time.

(As for prices, single character images typically go for 15 to 20 dollars, if they're not too difficult)
